Combining technical knowledge and field practice, this training is designed to offer an engaging and educational experience, allowing participants to develop their photographic eye while connecting deeply with nature.

Throughout the workshop, we will cover essential concepts such as image composition, reading natural light, and ideal camera settings for different times of the day. We'll also explore using tripods, filters, and other basic tools that help you capture sharp, impactful landscape photos. Much of the time will be dedicated to field practice, at strategic times such as sunrise and sunset, taking advantage of the best light and weather conditions for photographing.

Workshop modules

Learn on the field

What makes this beginner-level landscape photography workshop so different from the others is the practical immersion in the field from the very beginning. It’s not just about capturing beautiful images, but understanding all the elements that make a memorable landscape photograph — from reading light and weather to choosing the right frame, composition and timing to take the shot.

During the workshop, you will follow Diogo Oliveira in carefully selected locations, as he shares in real time his technical and creative decisions, explaining the reasons behind each choice — from the ideal lens to the use of ND or polarizing filters. You will learn how to prepare your equipment, how to adapt your camera settings to the lighting conditions and how to make the most of each scenario.

This workshop is a formative field experience designed for those who want to get started in landscape photography with a solid foundation and direct guidance from an experienced photographer.
