A Reserva Ornitológica do Mindelo é fotografar à porta de casa. Aliás, acho que a maioria das minhas melhores fotografias são feitas à porta de casa. Locais que visito vezes sem conta, onde aprendo sobre comportamentos, rotinas, entre outros detalhes. Este tem sido o local que tenho explorado nos últimos anos, e que tantas felicidades me tem trazido.
Este trabalho é fruto de uma relação próxima com o local, conhecendo os seus ritmos, espécies e mudanças ao longo do tempo. As imagens refletem essa intimidade e a importância da conservação deste espaço único no litoral norte de Portugal. É um dos locais que irei explorar em 2026 e 2027.

The Mindelo Ornithological Reserve is like photographing from my front door. In fact, I think most of my best photos are taken from my front door. Places I visit repeatedly, where I learn about behaviors, routines, and other details. This has been the place I've been exploring in recent years, and it has brought me so much happiness.
This work is the result of a close relationship with the place, getting to know its rhythms, species, and changes over time. The images reflect this intimacy and the importance of conserving this unique space on the north coast of Portugal. It is one of the places I will explore in 2026 and 2027.
