Os rios são corredores de vida, ligando habitats e espécies ao longo do território. Fotografar nestes ambientes é acompanhar o fluxo da água e da vida que dela depende. Estas imagens resultam de longos períodos de observação, muitas vezes em condições de luz difíceis e com enquadramentos complexos. O objetivo é mostrar o rio como sistema vivo, essencial para a biodiversidade e para o equilíbrio ecológico. Embora ainda não tenha grandes imagens, este é um dos locais que irei explorar em 2026 e 2027, fugindo um bocado das grandes planícies alentejanas e dos estuários.
PORTUGAL: RIVERS
Rivers are corridors of life, connecting habitats and species across the territory. Photographing in these environments means following the flow of water and the life that depends on it. These images result from long periods of observation, often in difficult lighting conditions and with complex framing. The goal is to show the river as a living system, essential for biodiversity and ecological balance. Although I don't yet have many great images, this is one of the places I will explore in 2026 and 2027, escaping a bit from the vast plains of Alentejo and estuaries.
