VIAGENS: MOÇAMBIQUE
O Parque Nacional da Gorongosa em Moçambique é um símbolo de recuperação ecológica e esperança. Desde que sou criança que oiço falar deste parque, que oiço falar de Moçambique e que desejava visitar Moçambique. Fotografar neste território foi testemunhar um ecossistema em reconstrução, foi ver o trabalho desenvolvido por colegas biólogos ao longo dos anos.
A visita à Gorongosa foi feita devido à Vanessa, que foi convidada para ir visitar os laboratórios e a equipa que está na Gorongosa a trabalhar com diversos grupos de animais, como os babuínos e os morcegos. Durante o tempo livre eu estava pelo acampamento a filmar animais, e quando ela tinha tempo livre íamos visitar o parque. Foi uma experiência que nunca esquecerei e estarei para sempre grato por todos os que nos ajudaram, levaram para o campo e todos os ensinamentos. Muito obrigado a todos!
TRAVELS: MOZAMBIQUE
Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique is a symbol of ecological recovery and hope. Since I was a child, I've heard about this park, about Mozambique, and I've always wanted to visit Mozambique. Photographing in this territory was witnessing an ecosystem under reconstruction, it was seeing the work done by fellow biologists over the years.
The visit to Gorongosa was made possible by Vanessa, who was invited to visit the laboratories and the team that is in Gorongosa working with various groups of animals, such as baboons and bats. During my free time, I stayed at the camp filming animals, and when she had free time, we would visit the park. It was an experience I will never forget, and I will be forever grateful to everyone who helped us, took us to the field, and shared all the teachings. Thank you all very much!
