One of the most colorful birds I had the opportunity to photograph when I went to Brazil, I was in the room when my father called me to see a bird. He ran out with his camera in hand.

Amphibians are one of the most fascinating animals, and in Brazil there was no shortage of species to photograph. The hardest part is choosing a photo. This little girl was in the middle of the road, and after getting her to safety I was able to take some pictures.

The insects were almost all colorful, or had an unusual appearance. But in a warm environment they are always super active, so I couldn't always get a picture. But this butterfly ended up staying calm and waiting for me.

It was one of the species I loved seeing the most, not only because of its size but because its appearance reminded me of a woodpecker I know from cartoons, even though it's not the same species. It was fantastic.

It's a species I photograph regularly, and so I look for different shots. In this case, I took advantage of a moment when I was showering at the end of the day, with softer light.

I work a lot with bats, and being in those dark environments, where silence reigns, is simply fantastic. Managing to photograph them without disturbing them, while they sleep hanging from the ceiling, is the main mission, and it gets easier with time.

This is one of the species I most enjoy photographing, not only because they can lie on the beach sand – who doesn't like that? – but also because they have very different personalities and behaviors that we can document, such as preening their feathers.

I've been searching for many animals in puddles of water on rocky beaches during low tide. And I keep finding unique animals, or rare moments to be recorded. Such is the case with anemones that end up almost out of the water.

Information on Fine-Art Prints

1. All prints have a white border and are sold unframed.

​2. Each print is inspected to ensure quality before being sent to the buyer.

​3. The images presented are merely illustrative of the photograph that will be printed; only the chosen final dimensions should be taken into account.

​4. At the moment, we are only processing orders for Portugal. We will expand to other countries soon. Shipping costs within Portugal are calculated during processing and sent along with the estimate.

​5. Prints will be shipped either in a rigid cardboard tube or a rigid envelope.

​6. Prints are dispatched once a week. If you urgently need your print, please email us, and we will do our best to expedite your order (Urgency Fee of €25 will be added to the total price).

​7. If you notice any issues with the condition of the print due to shipping, please contact us.
